Kaprun – Heart of the Alps.
Kaprun is located in Austria's Salzburg region, at the foot of the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, and is part of the Zell am See – Kaprun holiday region. The ski season on the Kitzsteinhorn glacier runs from October to the end of May.
The family ski mountain Maiskogel is right on the doorstep. Just a few minutes by car you reach the Kitzsteinhorn ski area and the Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See.
In summer, Lake Zell offers a wide range of water sports and leisure activities. The region is the gateway to the Hohe Tauern National Park, the Krimml Waterfalls, the spectacular Sigmund Thun Gorge and the Großglockner High Alpine Road. Unwind at the Tauern Spa Zell am See – Kaprun, only 5 minutes from the chalet.

"Such an enjoyable location! One morning we left our laundry drying outside — it suddenly started raining and we feared the worst. When we came back the host had „saved" it for us in a sheltered spot. Lovely garden tour with the kids, great recommendations on what to do, very easy WhatsApp communication. Large bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen, even BBQ wood and coal provided. Highly recommended!"
